Last year I had an Event that took every ounce of energy I had, and then some. I had the pickiest client, who had the cheapest budget, and worst of all she wanted the whole enchilada and wasn’t willing to cut any corners. To top it off the client was ME! Yes, I was giving my own daughter the wedding of her dreams. She wanted a “Rustic Theme” and after a year of planning we managed to pull it off in spite of the fact that the venue’s septic tanks backed up that day and it was the disaster you NEVER want to experience, believe me! But, you’re a professional and you’ve got this….remember that. Never let them see you sweat (you can have your breakdown afterward), and everyone is looking to you for direction. UGH! Well, we did it. I intend to develop this page as I get time to include a more detailed list of items and vendors used in order get to the “finished product”. This site will change as life permits. It’s a work in progress.
Special Events are always fun but they can be exhausting. Start with an idea and watch it change a million times before you are happy with your finished product. Be open for suggestions and make sure you have a team or even a partner to bounce ideas off of and who you can rely on through the process.
